Yudi Benamou, LMSW

Yudi has been involved in helping people grow from his most formative years. As the son of a rabbi, teaching, modeling, and learning have always been a part of his life. 

However, more importantly, Yudi learned how, in truth, everyone has something to teach, and has a life story to which it is worth listening. 

The challenges and struggles a person goes through make up a unique, irreplicable life story, which will be replete with lessons and inspiration if one is willing to listen.

To that end, Yudi believes in the power of the genuine relationship developed between an individual and a therapist. It is through this genuine relationship that the opportunity arises to explore challenges and grow further.

Growth can mean different things to different people. Generally, the common denominator is that the status quo is not enough. 

As a therapist, Yudi works together with clients to identify their goals for growth and how to reach them.

Yudi received his bachelors from Excelsior College and Masters of Social Work from the University of Maryland. Yudi is a licensed LMSW from the State of Maryland and received semicha (rabbinic ordination) from Rabbi Nota Greenblatt, zl.
